"Wee Witches Weekend"

Being UEA weekend I decided to take the kids to Gardner Village to see "The Witches". We went with my Mom, my niece Brynn, my friend Katie and her kids, my SIL Aubrey(Happy Birthday Aubs!)and her kids. We had know idea that it was WEE WITCHES WEEKEND- It's an event that they put on for the kids. There were witches everywhere pretend and real ones( they signed autographs and had photo opps with the kids). There was fun Halloween music playing, crafts for the kids, treats, and balloons. Lily was really scared at first, but then she realized how silly all of them were and would just giggle everytime we saw a new one. She now wants to be a witch for Halloween instead of Minne Mouse and I am considering it since Lexi and I are going to wiches. She asked my why all the pretend witches had "big booties" and all I could say was that the witches must put spells on eachother, while I was lol! The only dissapointment I had was that it was really crowded and therefore didn't have the best photo opps, but I guess you can't have everything. My kids talked about it all day how lucky they were that we came on that special day and I have to agree whole-heartedly.

Matilda the Witch

Lucinda, one of the "real" witches.
This one was Carter's favorite. He said, "Boy, Mom, that witch sure doesn't know how to drive".

We enjoyed our "Witch Hunt".
