Superbowl Sunday

Who said you have to like football to have fun at a Superbowl Party? Definitely not me, I always have a great time on Superbowl Sunday even though I never watch a minute of the game (the half-time show and commercials I love though)!
My sister Angie and I threw a get-together that day at our parents' house. My siblings, their spouses, nieces, nephews, my aunt and uncle, and two cousins came. We had plenty of "Game food"and stuffed ourselves silly. The guys and some of the kids went downstairs to watch the game on the big screen while us girls stayed upstairs to chat and play games. It had been awhile since my family had gotten together and I think everyone had a fabulous time!

My sister Angie made this cute cake

I made these fun football cookies

Brooklynne, Kendra, and Lexi doing their own thing during the game.

The guys eating and watching the game

The girls visiting upstairs

Kendra, Lily, and Taylee eating their dinner. The rest of the time we didn't see them. The spent the evening in the play room having a ball!

Tycen and Carter were excited to watch the big game with the guys. This was Carter's first Superbowl that he was old enough to actually understand and be excited about!

I've always LOVED Super Bowl Sunday . . . we have huge family get togethers, where 70% of us ignore 90% of the game and eat good food, talk and play foozball & pool! :-)
